I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, grief/loss, attachment, and the LGBTQ+/polyamorous/CNM community. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. My practice is based in Philadelphia and offer my services to residents across the state of Pennsylvania.
I am not the expert on your life; you are. I won't tell you what to do; you decide your path. I prioritize helping my client discover the needs and desires that were always with them while also working to heal the pain that is hindering their ability to live the life they want. In sessions with me, you can expect that I will gently challenge negative thoughts and self-talk. I will encourage but never push you to seek out and explore changes that will improve your life. I will also inform your journey with the knowledge of psychology that I have acquired to help you better understand how your mind works and how to appreciate its unique attributes. Together, we will set goals personalized to you. This is your therapy and it is essential that your therapy is working for you.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 17 years of experience as a psychotherapist. My background includes more than a decade working in university counseling centers, where I supported undergraduate and graduate students. Now in private practice in Denver, I bring that same depth of experience to a wider range of adults.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I offer approaches that incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, EMDR, and psychedelic-assisted therapy (including ketamine). I work with clients navigating stress, perfectionism, ADHD, trauma, difficulties with self-worth and shame, and major life changes, as well as those seeking deeper self-understanding and growth.
