I have been supporting the emotional and mental health of adolescents and young adults for a decade as a social worker. I specialize in family intervention and working with separated and divorced parents. I love working with parents who want to improve their relationships with their children and also work well with teens and young adults on enhancing self-esteem and finding balance in life.
My introduction to helping people and psychology both came about, as a result of following my mom’s example and the Bob Newhart Show. My mother was a natural people person with a keen interest and background in psychology. My take-away from the Bob Newhart Show drove home the needs for humor and light-heartedness as well as a genuine love for what you do. I believe that those qualities: love for people and my passion and seeing the humor in things truly define me, both as a therapist and a person. My academic journey led me to both bachelors and masters degrees from The University of Northern Colorado and included intensive training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy during my sabbatical in between my degrees. With a strong theoretical base supporting me, I moved forward and was able to blend my education with twenty years of real-world experience. I went on and diversified my experience as I worked in community counseling, community corrections, Inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. Although our learning never ceases, I feel very comfortable and sincere in offering clients my wealth of experience, knowledge of human behavior, and most of all, a kind ear.

There comes a time in everyone's life when we need support.
Are you sick and tired of trying to manage this alone? You wake up to another difficult day and wonder how you will cope. Anxiety and dread are becoming your best friends. But they don't have to be. You are here because you are ready for change and I am here because I can help you feel better.
Welcome! I’m Ramon, a Drama Therapist supporting children, adults, and families. I believe creative arts offer a deeper language when words aren’t enough. No artistic skills are needed; we simply use play and metaphor to explore challenges from a comfortable distance. Children process emotions through play, adults bypass the analytical mind for authentic expression, and families discover new ways of connecting. My approach is evidence-based and open-minded, providing a judgment-free space to explore your experiences at your own pace.

¡Bienvenidos!
As a licensed counselor, I believe that prioritizing mental health is foundational to each of our wellbeing. I appreciate you taking the first step in improving your relationship with yourself and others. The focus of my practice is helping those that feel anxious, disconnected or negatively effected by the experiences they have had in life.
I’m a therapist who works primarily with young adults navigating transitions, relationships, anxiety, and questions about direction in life. Much of my background has been in programs supporting people through life shifts, where I’ve helped clients build stability, confidence, and a clearer sense of who they want to be. I enjoy working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about their next steps. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, be honest about what’s going on, and start making meaningful changes.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience in private and community practice. I hold a PhD in psychology and master’s degrees in both marriage and family therapy and clinical psychopharmacology. I work at the intersection of psychology, natural medicine, and meaningful personal change to support clients suffering form individual and relational distress resulting from treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and trauma. I’m especially interested in the responsible integration of natural and psychedelic medicines, without hype or dogma. Outside the office, I’m a veteran, husband, and father of four, and I value curiosity, accountability, and connection.
Welcome! Your decision to seek support is a courageous step, and I would be honored to guide and support you on your journey.
I am Licensed Professional Counselor who has 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes specialized training in EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) which enables me to bring innovative approaches to our work together. I utilize a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, including CBT, strengths-based relational approaches, and person-centered therapy.
Because we are relational beings, I believe it’s important to express how we may align. As a human, I can relate to experiences of grief from losing a parent, the challenges of being a parent, navigating life in a blended family, and the impact of childhood trauma.
