My strengths lie in guiding individuals towards their goals, fostering resilience, and promoting holistic well-being. Together, we'll work collaboratively to unlock your potential and cultivate a fulfilling life journey.
Years of experience has taught me to listen carefully to the individual needs of the client. I am passionate about my work and deeply care about recovery.
Your story is unique and you deserve to have a safe place to share your experiences without judgement. I am here to provide that safe place for you whether it is In-Person or Telehealth. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and meet them where they are at. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced traumatic events throughout their life. I am ready to be part of your healing journey. Tu estas en control de tu vida, es tiempo de cuidar de ti.
I have experience working in the mental health inpatient setting where I treated clients experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, behavior issues and difficulty in communicating within the family unit.
Therapy with me will be collaborative and supportive. My priority is that you will learn and grow the skills needed to challenge your negative and anxious thoughts and to help you adjust to life transitions.
Clients describe me as someone who’s compassionate, but who will “tell it like it is.” I believe that most problems in our relationships and well-being come from unmet needs in childhood. I help my clients learn to heal through mindfulness, reparenting, and finding a sense of safety through Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) or somatic therapy. At the same time, we need to identify and challenge negative beliefs that we have about ourselves and the world. This is a process called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through therapy, we can develop self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and assertive communication. These are skills we can all learn to help us feel better and work towards the life and healthy relationships we want.

I am highly trained and deeply committed to helping teens and families thrive. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, advanced training in Christian counseling, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with certifications in school counseling, trauma-informed care, youth mental health, and human resources. I am also completing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership, where my research focuses on mental health needs and counselor workload.
My education and experience allow me to blend clinical expertise with a strong understanding of how families, schools, and communities shape well-being.
I love working with teens because adolescence is a powerful and challenging season. I have supported young people through anxiety, grief, trauma, identity concerns, academic stress, and family conflict, and I am passionate about creating a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood. I also work closely with families, helping them improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build healthier patterns together.
My practice is guided by faith, compassion, and professionalism. I offer biblically based counseling for clients who desire it, while always maintaining a safe, respectful, and evidence-based approach. Above all, I am a counselor who listens. I honor your experiences, respect your values, and work with you at a pace that feels right as we move toward healing and growth.
