As a marriage & family therapist, I am experienced in guiding individuals, couples and families as they work through traumatic and complex situations.
I am here to join with you in your journey toward overcoming depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, perinatal distress, postpartum depression or other challenges you may be facing.
Upon request, I also provide Christian counseling to help individuals and families meet both their emotional and spiritual needs.
Feeling overwhelmed by or drowning in the waves that life keeps hitting you with? Maybe you’ve been experiencing high tides for a long time or maybe you are experiencing them more recently due to a particular event in your life. Either way, it can feel exhausting AND you are not alone in this experience. Just as the tides of the ocean shift between high and low and never fully disappear, our life stressors will continue to ebb and flow. We will learn ways to navigate through the waves so that you aren’t consumed by them.
I have been working as an LPC since 2015. I was fully licensed in 2018 and have been working with individuals since then. I really enjoy working with pre-teens, teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, diagnosed or undiagnosed ADHD, and those experiencing change or transitions in life. My master's degree is in clinical psychology. I am certified through Texas Tech in applied behavioral analysis.
Hello, please feel free to call me Jay! I am a counselor dedicated to helping people navigate life's transitions with a sense of calm and purpose. I hold an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, but my perspective is also shaped by a decade of service as a Firefighter EMT-B. Having worked in everything from emergency services and healthcare to the Walt Disney Company and local business management, I specialize in helping others navigate career transitions, school preparation, and life pivots. My diverse background allows me to meet you exactly where you are, no matter your professional or personal path.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and full of hope. I believe that everyone has the ability to create change in their life — sometimes we just need the right tools and someone to walk beside us. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with confidence and self-compassion
Welcome!

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for exploring challenges related to anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, relationship distress, career stress, imposter syndrome, and other life transitions.
I focus on helping clients gain clarity, build resilience, and develop practical strategies for emotional regulation and personal growth. Welcome! If you’re here, something in your life probably feels off — maybe you’re burned out, stuck in old patterns, navigating anxiety or depression, or realizing that who you’ve been doesn’t fully match who you’re becoming.
I work with people who are genuinely curious about themselves. The ones who want to understand their identity more clearly, unpack attachment wounds, heal parts of their past, and build lives that feel more true to who they are. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and approachable. I’m a human first and a therapist second, so our work together feels comfortable, grounded, and real.
