As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe life is definitely a journey filled with emotions that takes us down different paths. During troubled times, these emotions and feelings may be hard to understand. Although the journey for everyone may be different, our experiences stem from similar scenarios.

Welcome to Grow Like a Girl, a space thoughtfully created with you in mind. For over a decade, I have supported individuals through life’s challenges, transitions, and moments of growth. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life changes, you deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood. I specialize in supporting women and teens through seasons of growth and self discovery. You do not have to do this alone. In a safe, welcoming space, healing feels more accessible and growth feels within reach.
Hi, I’m Liz, a therapist who believes healing starts with feeling truly seen and heard. My approach is gentle but direct, and I focus on what’s actually working in your life while finding small, realistic steps toward change. Many of the people I work with are women navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, or the challenges of motherhood. I also understand that sometimes we’re not trying to thrive , we’re just trying to survive in a world that can feel heavy and unpredictable. My goal is to help you make sense of that survival mode, find steadiness within it, and slowly reconnect with you again.
It’s okay to need support. Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, mood changes, trauma, depression, or panic begin affecting your ability to feel like yourself. You may notice your mind won’t slow down, your sleep is off, or it’s harder to focus and keep up with daily responsibilities. When stress builds or world events add to the weight you’re carrying, it can start to feel like too much to manage alone. Many people reach a point where coping strategies no longer feel like enough, and that’s often when support can make a real difference.
I believe care should feel personal, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. I take time to understand your story, not just your symptoms, and create a space where you feel comfortable being open without fear of judgment. I’ll be honest and supportive, helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing while offering guidance that feels practical and manageable.
My goal is to help you feel more balanced, clear, and confident in navigating your day-to-day life.
As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I specialize in adults/ college students struggling with mood instability, women’s mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum. As well as working with families navigating schizophrenia and or mood disorders. I believe healing begins when the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—is nurtured. My approach goes beyond medication alone, blending evidence-based psychiatric treatment with lifestyle and wellness strategies designed to restore balance and promote lasting emotional well-being.
