Are you navigating grief, chronic illness or a rare disease, or a major life transition? Maybe you grew up in a family impacted by addiction, conflict, or instability, and want to explore how those experiences are showing up in your life today. These experiences can shape your boundaries, self-worth, and sense of responsibility for others—often influencing relationships, personal growth, and even physical health. In therapy, we’ll explore how your past and present connect, process what you’ve been carrying, and begin to shift patterns that no longer serve you—so you can move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
My clients should know that I bring over a decade of experience as a board-certified, licensed professional counselor working with children, teens, and adults. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s a partnership — you bring your experiences, and I bring my training and expertise. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I tailor each session to fit your unique needs and goals. Above all, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I have a M.S. Mental Health Counseling graduate degree with a specialization in Substance Abuse Disorder, a M.A. Psychology graduate degree and an undergraduate B.A. Psychology degree.
I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, detox and rehab facilities, outpatient PCP and IOP mental health and individual private practice. I have worked with a range of different clients from many different backgrounds and ages (children, preteen, teen, adult and elderly).
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that has 6 years of experience working in the field. I have experience serving a variety of communities. Coping with a sever Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for the past 20+ years allowed me to experience both side of the counselor-counselee dynamic. I conduct honest, in-depth conversations that allows clients to feel at ease with the self-directed decision they make to bolster their personal, educational, or vocational pursuits.
As a licensed professional counselor I have helped clients work through challenging times such as processing grief, rebuilding their self confidence, establishing boundaries, and surviving the post partum period.
