Great to meet you! Hi, I’m Sylvia Bella. I primarily work with teens who feel overwhelmed by school, friendships, or constant pressure and aren’t sure how to cope. Many of the teens I support struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, academic stress, or difficulty making decisions and feeling stuck or misunderstood. I also work with parents who want to better understand and support their teen but aren’t sure where to start.
I also support young adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and feeling overwhelmed.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey, with six years of experience in the mental health field. I view therapy as a space where your voice is valued, respected, and truly heard.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families to resolve personal and relationship challenges, while developing healthy coping strategies and lifestyle habits that lead to a better quality of life. A central focus of my work is helping clients access, understand, and manage their emotions.
I support people navigating relational conflict, job-related stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, shame, guilt, fear, grief, ADHD and trauma. My training and personal and professional experience have equipped me to address matters of the heart while incorporating faith-based interventions that support holistic healing when appropriate.
I hold a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. My approach focuses on seeing the whole person rather than just symptoms.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Diplomate in Energy Psychology with advanced training in mindfulness and mind-body approaches to healing. My work integrates neuroscience, somatic awareness, and energy psychology to help clients move beyond symptom management and into genuine transformation.
I specialize in supporting adults and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and phobias, as well as those seeking greater focus, emotional intelligence, and personal growth. My approach is collaborative and growth-oriented—grounded in presence, compassion, and evidence-based practices that honor both mind and body.
With a background in both traditional therapy and integrative modalities, I aim to help clients reconnect to their innate capacity for healing and resilience—so they can live with more clarity, freedom, and ease.
