My background includes almost 15 years in the financial and corporate world before I shifted gears to become a therapist. As a therapist, I have worked in corporate, government and hospital settings. A key part of my work is helping folks navigate workplace dynamics, difficult thought patterns and strengthening interpersonal skills. I also have extensive experience working with First Responders.
Hi, I’m Rebecca! I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York. I graduated with my Master's in Social Work in May 2019 and became licensed in NYS in September 2019. Since then, I have worked full time in outpatient community mental health. Through out my education and employment, I have specialized in working with adults with co-occurring disorders (in other words, individuals who struggle with mental health and substance use simultaneously).
Graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I work with CBT, ACT, from a Psychodynamic background.
Starting in therapy creates a space to voice your thoughts while receiving support, validation and other perspectives to explore. When struggling with self-doubt, critical self talk, and the weight of societal expectations around identity, relationships or image a place to talk it through is crucial. These can become barriers to effective communication, self care and greatly affect our mental health. We all deserve a space to be heard and process these experiences. A part of the therapy process is bringing awareness to how these internal narratives and external experiences influence anxiety, depression, mood, self-esteem and self-worth.

Hey, I’m Heather, a licensed clinical social worker & certified KAP therapist. Our work together can be an opportunity to better understand how present behaviors & beliefs are keeping you from your fullest happiness. We'll uncover what's at the root of these challenges & together, create strategies for what you feel is needed: managing stress & anxiety, establishing healthy boundaries, deepening self-awareness, working through loss or creating conscious relationships + more.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in despair, or wondering how things got so heavy, you’re not alone. Reaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest steps—but it can also be the beginning of real change. I’m here to walk that path with you.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor serving clients across New York through telehealth. I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, depression, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling hopeless or discouraged, unsure if things can truly get better. Together, we focus on rebuilding hope, strengthening resilience, and creating practical steps toward the life you want.
My approach is caring, direct, and encouraging. I believe in meeting you with compassion while also gently challenging you to grow. Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest about your struggles without judgment—and also be reminded of your strengths. Your challenges do not define you. They are part of your story, but they are not the whole story.
I entered the mental health field because I genuinely wanted to make a difference. I want people to know they are not alone and that mental health challenges don’t have to prevent them from succeeding, growing, or reaching their goals. Change is possible. Healing is possible. And you are capable of more than you may feel right now.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with God, being with my family, and crafting—activities that keep me grounded and connected. I bring that same sense of presence and authenticity into the therapy space.
If you’re ready to regain your hope, strength, and resilience, I would be honored to support you. Let’s take the next step together
