I received my B.A. in Psychology and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. I am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and have been within the mental health and substance abuse field for over seven years.
I earned an MSW from Tulane School of Social Work in 1989 and am a clinical social worker. I also practice Psychodrama and am a graduate of the Hudson Valley Psychodrama Institute in NY. I work primarily with musicians, actors & writers. I have a long history of working in non-profit agencies and schools, providing top notch care to disadvantaged and oppressed adolescents and families.
I am a compassionate listener who is focused on helping to improve our patient's quality of life.
Since 2017, I’ve supported clients of all ages through experiences of trauma, grief, and life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and centered around your unique needs. I draw from trauma-informed and person-centered approaches to help you gain clarity, build coping tools, and reconnect with a sense of stability and self-trust.
Since 2008, I have worked in the Mental Health field in various capacities. I specialized in Counseling Psychology and have been providing therapy since 2013. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have effectively worked alongside numerous individuals facing diverse challenges. We all face challenges in our lives. Some big, and some small. My goal is to help you successfully address challenges in your life that have become burdensome. Let’s conquer those burdensome challenges in your life together.
