By doing this, we can form realistic and attainable goals to establish growth and promote healing. Remember that healing is not linear. I started my career in New York City then moved my practice to the sunny state of Florida. My experience over the past 15 years is working with adults navigating everything from everyday stress to deeper emotional wounds. Life gets complicated sometimes, but you don't have to do it alone! Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through their most vulnerable moments—and watching them rediscover their strength, gain clarity and build confidence.
Hi there! I'm Sasha. I have over 13 years of counseling experience, 8 of those years as a licensed mental health counselor, providing support for adults of all ages. I received my Masters of Education in mental health counseling from the University of Miami and since have worked with individuals struggling through depression, anxiety, relational issues, PTSD, addiction, and loss of purpose and motivation.
I provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and confidential space where you can express yourself freely. My priority is to create an environment where you feel heard, valued, and respected. I believe therapy is not “one-size-fits-all.” I tailor my approach based on your unique needs, experiences, and goals, using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Strategies.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I will walk alongside you. I empower you to set the pace, make decisions, and discover solutions that work best for you. While we address challenges, I also highlight your resilience, strengths, and personal growth, helping you recognize the progress you are making along the way.

I've spent over 21 years helping people navigate some of life's toughest situations — substance use, trauma, domestic violence, anger, and the kind of challenges that make it hard to see a way forward. I spent the last decade working in court-ordered programs with clients who didn't choose to be in therapy, and I got them to stay. First thing I tell every client: I am your advocate. I'm real, I'm relatable, and yes, I will make you laugh! I'm a seasoned Black woman from New York City, and my NYC energy definitely comes through. Clients describe me as someone who can break through that wall of resistance many people walk in with and I'm proud of that.
