I have 6+ years of working with both individuals and couples. I work to create an atmosphere free of judgement while trying to be as direct as possible.
My individual work helps you build on your strengths while you gain a healthier perspective on what you may currently perceive as weaknesses. I want to help you understand and appreciate the unique combination of gifts you have to draw on. My goal is to help you find more meaningful and fulfilling ways to negotiate your life's path. I work with non-traditional individuals using traditional insight-oriented methods. Many of my clients are individuals in non-traditional jobs and/or relationships who want to look deeply into their own experiences.
Hi, my name is Karen. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been in the field for over 20 years now. I love to work with individuals and couples.
Im a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering virtual therapy to adults, couples, and families in PA, FL, and TX. Im trained in CBT, Somatic Experiencing, and RO-DBT. I specialize in anxiety, obsessive or compulsive tendencies, relationship and childhood trauma, grief, and couple's work. I have a broad background with families, couples, children, and adults up to 75 years old. As a mom of five, I bring empathy and real-life understanding to the work, while helping clients move toward clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
I've been a licensed professional counselor for over 10 years, working with adults and teens. I specialize in trauma, depression, and anxiety and use a variety of techniques to help my clients. I received my Masters degree at the University of North Texas and have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
“If we want to not just survive but also to thrive in this always challenging world, we have to intentionally develop our capacity to act with courage.” My job is to help you find and develop that courage for the challenges of life.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and families who want more than just relief from stress or conflict—they want meaningful change. I believe courage isn’t about being fearless; it’s about showing up honestly, even when it’s uncomfortable, and taking small, intentional steps toward the life and relationships you want. Therapy is a place where you don’t have to have it all figured out. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and uncover new ways of responding that feel more aligned with who you truly are.
I came to counseling after having already completed a successful career and was looking for something different. I completed graduate school in Texas and have since become licensed in both Texas and Colorado. The majority of my work is in general counseling and I also work with couples and families. I have worked for University of Texas schools as well as for the University of Alabama. While working in the UT system schools I helped with veterans issues and transition to civilian life. During Covid I provided counseling for military families and first responders.
I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, communication, work, family and relationship issues. I encourage you to take the first courageous step towards greater self-awareness, increased confidence, and healthier relationships. Take the time to invest in your well-being. You are worth it.
