My Philosophy
I see counseling not as fixing people, but as helping people rediscover the strength, resilience, and clarity they already possess. Whether you’re facing trauma, navigating identity, or simply trying to make sense of life’s changes, I aim to meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward hope and wholeness.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in session, I enjoy hiking, biking, working out, painting, and spending time outdoors. I’m passionate about Texas culture and the stories that shape who we are — both individually and collectively.
I am a helper at heart. My goal is to be here for you so you can show up for yourself. I am open and understanding and willing to meet you where you are while always striving for better.
I work with adults and the occasional adolescent to reconnect with their bodies and emotions in order to develop insight and grow.
I studied clinical mental health counseling at Sam Houston State University, and have received further training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and expressive arts therapy.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I do individual, family, and couple counseling. I speak English and Spanish. I see children, adolescents, adult, and older adults.
I care about all my clients. Being a therapist is a passion for me and I am here to help.
