Hi, I’m Christopher, a board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a background in both healthcare and military leadership. My experience includes working in high‐intensity medical environments where I supported individuals facing significant stress, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, trauma‐related concerns, and high levels of stress. My goal is to provide care that is empowering, holistic, and supportive, helping clients build resilience and regain a sense of balance in their lives.
Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP-accredited) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Memphis.
Her path to counseling was shaped by a genuine passion for advocacy. Before and during her graduate studies, Amanda worked at Naval Support Activity Mid-South supporting military families, volunteered at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, and gained hands-on experience serving children and families across clinical and community settings. She has since built a career working with diverse populations — children, adolescents, and adults — and collaborates within multidisciplinary teams to ensure well-rounded, thoughtful care for every client.
Amanda's work is driven by one core belief: that with the right support, people have room to grow.
As a therapist, I truly enjoy seeing my clients grow. It is a true privilege to see clients work toward their goals. It takes courage to be in therapy and I want to walk alongside you through the challenges of feelings stuck. My strength as a therapist is to offer the skills and knowledge you may need to move forward and build a life you imagine for yourself. I have been a therapist for ten years and received my degree through Dallas Theological Seminary. Currently my specialities are in trauma, sexual abuse, borderline personality disorder, depression and anxiety, relationships and women's issues.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and not rushed. I offer a calm, supportive space to help you make sense of what you’re carrying and develop practical tools for moving forward.
I work collaboratively and at your pace, whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or past experiences. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start—I’ll walk alongside you as you build clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
