I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor based in Tyler, Texas, and founder of Magnolia Counseling & Supervision, PLLC. With over 15 years of experience in trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, and community mental health, I offer a safe, supportive space for individuals working through life’s most difficult seasons.
My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I meet clients where they are—with respect, honesty, and compassion. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, burnout, or a life transition, I help you move forward with clarity and resilience.
Over the years, I have worked with diverse populations, including individuals recovering from acute trauma, childhood adversity, and postpartum mental health. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with compassionate, person-centered care, recognizing that every individual’s experience is unique. By tailoring interventions to each client’s needs, I create a safe and supportive environment where healing can unfold. As a licensed clinical social worker, I am deeply committed to helping individuals reclaim their strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Specializing in trauma-informed care, I bring expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to empower my clients on their healing journey.
Hello! My name is Priscilla Sanchez. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor. Working in community mental health for years, I understand seeking help, opening up can be difficult whether this is your first time speaking to someone about what you are experiencing or you are seeking a counselor who is easy to speak to. I work with adults who are experiencing challenges with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma or other stressors related to life, and relationships.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions, I bring a unique and deeply personal perspective to my practice. My journey through significant life events, including navigating the complexities of an abusive marriage, enduring the challenges of infertility, the transformative process of divorce and remarriage, embracing the roles of a parent and stepparent, as well as coping with the heart-wrenching unexpected loss of my brother has equipped me with an unparalleled empathy and understanding. These experiences not only shaped my resilience but also deepened my commitment to supporting others through their challenges.
I believe that struggles with mental health can make us feel like we’re on the outside looking in — different, misunderstood, or even broken.
Many of the people I work with identify as the “black sheep” in their families or communities — thoughtful, self-aware, but carrying more than they should have to on their own.
My goal is to help you shift how you see those experiences. What feels like a weakness or flaw often has the potential to become a source of strength, insight, and growth.
I specialize in working with people who feel like they don’t quite fit in.
