I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Board-Certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I approach every patient with respect, empathy, and a focus on safety. My clinical decisions are grounded in current research, best practices, and your individual needs.
I believe in a collaborative and transparent treatment process. I value open communication. I want you to feel comfortable discussing your symptoms, concerns, and goals so we can work together to create a plan that truly supports your mental health.
My passion is helping women to regain a feeling of control and authorship in their lives. I specialize in helping women with postpartum depression/anxiety, self-esteem issues and stress from life transitions. I received my Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Ohio State in 2008. I'm a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience.

Hi, there! My name is Dr. Justin Lockhart, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I believe deeply in people’s capacity to grow and change, even when life feels overwhelming. If you’re struggling to manage big feelings, having trouble connecting with the people around you, or just feel like anxiety has you trapped on the business end of a bulldozer, I’m here to help you figure it out.
I work with teens and adults who want to build the tools to overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, mood swings, and relationship problems. Our thoughts, feelings, and experiences are important passengers, but they don’t have to drive the car. Instead, we can learn to find purpose, belonging, and peace even in the toughest of times.
Hi. First, let me thank you for taking a moment to read my profile. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I am a 30 year Army veteran and have been successful helping service members adjust to civilian life and reducing the impact of deployments to various war zones on their lives and relationships.
I try to make my counseling style warm and interactive; more like a conversation than a interrogation. I believe in treating people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
