My name is Dr. Jessica Sanchez and I am a Spanish-speaking Licensed Professional Counselor and Chemical Dependency Counselor. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science from Lamar University in 2004 and became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in 2008. In 2024, I graduated with a Doctorate of Psychology from the Walden University.
It is my goal to help clients understand their diagnosis, set goals of what coping looks like, and establish a strong and healthy support system. I also focus on healthy living skills, which entails balancing social and emotional well-being. My belief as a therapist is for each client to see steps of progression leading towards their obtainable goals.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and medical professional dedicated to helping others find their strength. I believe therapy is a fundamental right, not a luxury. Whether you are navigating a difficult season, needing a mental 'tune-up,' or simply seeking an unbiased accountability partner to help you stay on track, I am here to provide that safe space. My goal is to empower you with the tools and support you need to give your mind the VIP treatment it deserves—because a healthy head space is the ultimate advantage
I’m a first-generation daughter of immigrant parents, and I am passionate about helping individuals in the Hispanic/LatinX community overcome the stigma around therapy. I provide a safe, authentic, and supportive space where clients can feel understood and empowered.
I have experience working with survivors of trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, immigration trauma, and generational trauma. I also help clients navigate life transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, stress management, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help you understand how your experiences have shaped your emotional well-being and to normalize your reactions along the way.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
