Hello! If you feel overwhelmed by your emotions, struggle with intrusive thoughts, or feel disconnected in your relationships, you’re not alone. You have the strength within you to create the life you want, and I’m here to help you get there.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor and Therapist who takes a warm, open, and direct approach. Together, we’ll build coping skills, foster resilience, and navigate life’s challenges so you can move forward with confidence.
I am a licensed therapist with experience in helping individuals navigate a range of emotional and mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, drawing from a blend of therapeutic methods.
Your voice matters in therapy, and I’ll always encourage your active participation to ensure our work together feels aligned with your values and goals.
Adia is a highly trained, dedicated, and motivated clinician. She has experience working with military veterans, retired NFL players, survivors of sexual abuse, women struggling with postpartum, and children/adolescents in academic settings. Adia is committed to raising her four children and fulfilling her life purpose of being a mental health advocate. In her personal time, she enjoys walking, weightlifting, horse riding, preparing healthy meals, traveling and reading self-development books.
I’m glad you’re here. I have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, human trafficking, and other forms of complex trauma. I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which are evidence-based approaches designed to treat trauma, PTSD, and related symptoms. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional overwhelm, dissociation, grief, and burnout related to past or ongoing experiences.
As a foster and adoptive parent, I also support foster and adoptive families through a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) lens. I understand how trauma can impact attachment, behavior, and relationships for both children and caregivers. In addition, I work with individuals experiencing prenatal and postpartum mental health concerns, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with parenthood.
I also support clients struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and emotional relationships with food. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, eating concerns, or life transitions, my goal is to create a safe, affirming, and compassionate space where you can process difficult experiences and begin meaningful healing.
Empowering you to become "The Best Possible You" is my ultimate goal. Life is full of challenges, disappointments and successes. How you process these experiences may impact your quality of life. While I do not purport to be able to change difficult situations from the past, I will partner with you in understanding and addressing current life issues in a way that allows you to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and celebrate success.
