I am so glad you're here! I love people and love helping people improve their emotional and mental well being by talking through past and present hang ups. Through my own journey of healing and connection, I have found the value in therapy and working through what life throws at you. My training and background is working with trauma, women's issues, mental performance, anxiety/depression, adult children of alcoholics, and life transitions. As a Christian myself and graduate of Denver Seminary, I am trained and feel honored to provide Christian counseling if and only you desire that as part of your care. I have worked with a variety of ages, but have felt my calling is specifically to women, ages 18-55.
My name is Hui-Li (Wendy) Walker and I am a licensed professional counselor. I have a Masters of Art in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. In the past, I worked in an outpatient clinic as a clinical therapist. I am a therapist of few words, I want to listen to you. I want to listen to your life, your experiences, and who you are as a person.
Having navigated my own mental health challenges, I understand how difficult it can be to take that first step and ask for help. It’s not easy—but it can be life-changing. Reaching out made a profound, positive impact on my own journey, and I truly believe that support can do the same for others. If you’re struggling, I encourage you to seek the help you need—you don’t have to face it alone.
