I am a first generation Afro-Caribbean, born and raised New Yorker from the Bougie down Bronx and proud mother of one. I am compassionate about working with adult women and BIPOC individuals. Throughout my mental health experience, I have treated clients with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My passion is in trauma, most specifically generational trauma. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hunter College.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York City. I provide tailored and integrated psychotherapy for children, adults and families. I am also an adjunct professor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, where I supervise doctoral students in child psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I received my BA from Brandeis University, my MS in school psychology and my PsyD in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology
I began my psychiatric nursing career after graduating from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2009. Several years later, I pursued an advanced practice degree, also at Columbia University, and earned a PhD. I lived in Poland and France before I arrived to the United States at the turn of this century. Given my international experience, I work in three languages: English, French, and Polish. I offer therapy and medication management and the clients and me decide on the best approach.
Hi there! As a practicing clinician of ten years, my goal as a therapist is to provide a welcoming and safe space where you can feel comfortable to be and express yourself, to have your voice heard, to process and work through any challenges you are facing, and to know that you are not alone as we work collaboratively together. I strive to create an environment where one can engage in self-reflection, self-exploration, growth, and healing. Before obtaining my Ph.D. in Social Work at New York University, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hunter College and a B.A. in Psychology at Brooklyn College.
Hi there! I am a LMHC and CASAC with over 14 years' experience. Thinking about starting therapy, but not sure what to expect? There are a lot of misconceptions out there about what therapy is or isn't, but at the end of the day, therapy is something that can help you on your journey to getting to know yourself. My expertise lies in working with individuals managing trauma, addiction, mental health issues, conflict resolution, communication issues and couples facing relationship struggles.
Hi, I’m Cindy and I want you to know this: you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying it all, therapy can be a space to exhale, reflect, and gently begin again.
I come to this work not only as a clinician but as a human being shaped by my own lived experience. I’m a proud Trinidadian-American who migrated to the U.S. at a young age, and I know what it’s like to navigate different worlds, expectations, and identities. That background helps me show up with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for the unique path each client walks.
I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work at Simmons University, and my clinical experience has focused on supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, burnout, and issues related to identity and belonging. I have a special heart for clients who are used to being the strong ones, the caregivers, the first-gen trailblazers, the ones who hold space for everyone else.
In our work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. I use a relational and strengths-based approach, integrating tools from CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, but more importantly, I meet you where you are, honoring your pace and your story.
This is your space to feel seen, to feel safe, and to explore what healing could look like for you. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
