Welcome!
Mental well-being is a top priority because it is the key that opens the door to a happy, healthy, and stable life. Life can be full of unpredictable circumstances and events that leave us feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, stressed, anxious, or depressed. Experiencing one, or all, of these starts to negatively impact critical areas such as sleep, work, self-motivation, personal relationships, or lead us to start engage in unhealthy outlets. It also makes us feel all alone and emotionally trapped. Reaching out for help can initially feel uneasy and it is a difficult task, but be proud of yourself that you are taking that first step! I have over 20 years of clinical experience working with clients aged 13 to 75 with a main focus on working for you, your needs, and how to achieve your goals to live a happy, healthy, and stable life. Specialty areas include anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, Acute and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, relationships, couples/marital counseling, sexual issues, employees of law enforcement agencies, and forensic based testing.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience treating adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders. I work especially well with high-functioning professionals and women facing life transitions, burnout, or generational patterns. My background includes leadership and program development, and I bring both clinical expertise and real-world understanding into my work.
My philosophy in mental health counseling is rooted in the belief that change is always possible. Drawing from my 20 years of experience in physical rehabilitation as an occupational therapist, I bring a holistic and body-based understanding to mental health treatment.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from your sense of purpose? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this alone. As a licensed clinician with over a decade of experience, I’m here to support you through life’s challenges and help you regain clarity, confidence, and control.
My clinical background includes work in crisis intervention, outpatient psychotherapy, and group facilitation for parenting, anger management, and domestic violence. Over the past six years, I’ve served as a mental health clinician in an emergency room setting, supporting children, adolescents, and adults in acute crisis.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors, career-related stress, relationship issues, fear of rejection, and feelings of abandonment.
Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re considering starting your mental health journey, I want you to know that you’re not alone, and healing is possible.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care in a safe and supportive environment. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College, and I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience working in hospital-based psychiatric settings.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges—including anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, PSTD, OCD, panic disorder, ADHD and complex mental health diagnoses. My approach is compassionate and collaborative: I take the time to truly listen, understand your unique story, and tailor your care based on your individual needs and goals.
I offer both medication management and therapeutic support with a strong emphasis on dignity, respect, and trust. My goal is to walk beside you—whether you're taking your first step toward healing or continuing a lifelong journey toward mental wellness.
You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported. I'm here to help you reclaim your peace, purpose, and strength—one step at a time.
You might look fine on the outside, keeping up with work, showing up for others, managing everything, while internally feeling exhausted, anxious, or like you've lost the thread of who you actually are. If that resonates, you're in the right place. I work with adults who are stuck in patterns they can't seem to shift: overthinking, people-pleasing, chronic stress, burnout.
