Great to meet you!
Hi I'm Rosemary! As a therapist, with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, adults and those who suffer with severe mental health illness, I am well versed in several counseling techniques and have a compassionate approachable demeanor. My goal is to help you achieve your goals and learn new behaviors.
You dreamed of what becoming a mother would feel like — and maybe this isn’t it. You’re exhausted in ways you didn’t expect. You’re anxious, or numb, or you can’t stop the intrusive thoughts. You love your baby and yet you feel lost inside your own life. That disconnect is real, and it makes sense.
I specialize in supporting mothers through the emotional weight of the perinatal period; from pregnancy through the postpartum years. This includes birth trauma, postpartum anxiety and depression, intrusive thoughts, and the profound stress of a NICU stay or premature birth. If your baby’s early days were shaped by fear, separation, or medical uncertainty, you don’t have to carry that alone.
In our work together, you won’t be rushed, minimized, or handed a generic coping list. You’ll have space to say the things you haven’t been able to say out loud and to slowly feel like yourself again.
I offer virtual sessions, making it easy to get support from the comfort of your home — no babysitter required.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 7 years experience working in various mental health settings and in outpatient substance use treatment.
I specializes in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, major life transitions, self-esteem, codependency and relationship conflict. I also provide support to family members of loved ones struggling with addiction.
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, so I encourage you to trust your gut as you seek. I have worked with people across the lifespan dealing with life changes, mood and behavioral issues, relationship difficulties, complex trauma, and more. People move at different paces of change in therapy, and I will walk or jog with you as a compassionate, relatable, and realistic guide, working from your strengths as a platform of change. Sometimes therapy is hard and sometimes it feels great. You may laugh, cry, reconsider life choices, and more. We'll work through it all, and you will emerge feeling like a clearer version of yourself.
I'm a psychotherapist trained in creative methods to help move you toward your therapeutic goals. I am also pursuing advanced certification in EMDR therapy, an evidence based, intensive therapeutic intervention addressing nearly every clinical issue from anxiety to complex trauma. I am relationally focused, meaning my job is to attune to you and your needs.
Sometimes even a short interaction can let you know if it could be a fit. I am available for a 15 minute phone intro/consultation so you can get a better sense of our work together. Let's talk so you can decide for yourself. I look forward to hearing from you. You can send an email to set up a call.

I am a Mental Health Counselor licensed in the State of New York. I graduated from Medaille University in 2023 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
