I currently work at a private practice and have many years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults as a social worker and therapist. I received a Master of Social Work degree at the University of South Carolina. I specialized in studying, children, youth and their families.
I integrate evidenced-based practices, tailored to each individual's needs. These include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and a client-centered approach.
As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a proud graduate of D'Youville College, I provide a compassionate, faith-based approach to mental health care. My work stems from my belief that healing is always possible and that hope is a powerful force for change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I offer a safe, welcoming space where we can work together to rediscover your strength and resilience. I believe that setbacks help us grow rather than define who we are. Starting over, sometimes, is the bravest thing we can do.
Grace Lamour (she/her) is a trauma-informed, culturally competent therapist passionate about helping clients gain insight, resilience, and self-awareness. As a child of immigrants, Grace deeply understands how identity, cultural expectations, and oppression influence mental health.
She supports clients with anxiety, generational trauma, and self-worth through CBT, psychodynamic, and person-centered techniques. Grace creates a collaborative, accessible space for individuals and families—especially BIPOC and first-gen clients—to process, heal, and thrive.
I'm Jackie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) and Certified Addiction Counselor with 20 years of experience across community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings — including Maimonides Medical Center and NYU Langone. I earned my MSW from NYU Silver School of Social Work and have supervised post-graduate clinicians working toward licensure.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, and the lasting effects of growing up in emotionally unpredictable or inconsistent homes. If you spent your childhood managing everyone else's feelings while your own got put on the back burner — this is a space built for you.
I started my private practice because I wanted to offer something less clinical and more human. Therapy with me is warm, direct, and skills-focused. I'll challenge you when it's useful, support you when it's needed, and yes — there will probably be a book recommendation somewhere along the way.
Outside the therapy room I'm a real person too, which is probably why clients tell me I'm easy to talk to and occasionally make them laugh when they least expect it.
