I have been a practicing therapist for almost 5 years worked with a variety of populations and backgrounds. I have experience working with domestic violence survivors, adults with various comorbid diagnoses, and adolescents/ youth dealing with change, mood disorders and impulse control concerns. I currently work primarily with adolescents and young adults specializing in anxiety, depression, basic stress/life concerns, relationships (romantic or family) difficulties, PTSD and managing changes in life.
Thanks for visiting my page, I am glad you are here. I’ve spent more than 15 years supporting individuals of all ages and families through life’s toughest and most meaningful transitions. I specialize in trauma, grief, maternal mental health, postpartum support, anxiety, and life challenges. As a long time school social worker, I also love working with teens, young adults, and parents navigating stress, anxiety, identity, impulse control, ADHD, and the emotional impact of today’s digital world—including screen use overwhelm.
A lot of the people I work with describe feeling like they’ve been “holding everything together” but falling through the cracks themselves. Whether you’re a new parent, a caregiver, a teenager struggling to find direction, or someone facing loss or major change—you don’t have to do this alone.
Psychoanalytic therapy offers a different kind of conversation. It’s a space where you can speak freely, without needing to organize your thoughts in advance, and where what you say is taken seriously. Often, thoughts and feelings that haven’t been spoken—even to yourself—begin to take shape. Something that has been unclear or just out of reach can gradually come into view. Over time, patterns emerge, and what once felt fixed can begin to loosen.
Since graduating from the University at Albany in 2002, I’ve worked in human services and social work. Returning to graduate school, I discovered my passion for clinical social work. For me, the most fulfilling part is building meaningful connections and supporting others on their journey of healing and self-discovery.
