Raye-Ann Quarcoopome has over a decade of experience working with individuals with complex emotional needs.
I’m a compassionate, collaborative therapist who is deeply committed to helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their growth. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and patterns that feel difficult to break. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in genuine curiosity about your lived experience.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up fully as yourself—without pressure or pretense. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, uncover underlying patterns, and build tools that support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your decisions, and more equipped to handle life’s complexities.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my education at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Through my education and training, I have worked in various settings including hospitals, schools, clinics, working with children and adults of various backgrounds. I specialize in children and families, am a RPT (Registered Play Therapist) through APT.
I’ve been working with women, children and families for over 15 years in individual counseling, group settings, and program development. My expertise lies in helping people understand their own emotional experience, to use words not violence, to cope, to reduce impulsive and compulsive behavior, to advocate for themselves.
I believe to live fully, we must feel. Intensely. Viscerally. Freely. To feel pride and pain, joy and frustration. To taste the freedoms of life, as well as its restraints. To reconcile thoughts, actions and emotions that are often at odds. To square all of this with culture, beliefs, and history. To live fully is when a sense of equity, equality and balance is awakened. To live fully is to gain perspective and know that you can weather all of it, and not be overcome by these complexities, but learn to integrate them, for a full life.
