I am here to walk with you on your journey, offering guidance that respects your individuality. If you're ready to take the next step toward a more fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out and let's start working together toward the future you envision. I have over ten years of experience in the mental health field; I obtained my Master's degree in social work from New York University and my doctorate in social work from Rutgers University.
Angelique believes in the healing power of connection, warmth, and empathy. She has a passion for advocating, supporting, and celebrating her client’s accomplishments. Her expertise includes clients who are navigating life transitions, looking for support related to relationships or family, and are in need of outpatient support in maintaining their sobriety from alcohol or drugs.
Angelique's other specialties/areas of interest include working with families and loved ones who have addiction issues, young professionals navigating anxiety or pressure in the workplace, and young adults who are working to overcome trauma, social issues, or family strain.
Nice to meet you all. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow as a clinician while supporting others. The first half of my career I spent working with adolescents in schools and in their homes as a therapist. I gained a deep appreciation for their resilience, insight and growth. I currently work with adults who have both mental and physical challenges providing compassionate, person-centered care.
Clients should know that I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space while also being direct and goal-oriented. I understand that many individuals come to therapy during difficult or uncertain times, and my role is to help you gain clarity, stability, and direction.
I have extensive experience working with individuals managing complex life stressors, including legal involvement, trauma, and mental health challenges. I also have a strong background in working with clients who may need additional structure, support, or guidance in navigating systems and life transitions.
My approach is collaborative—I meet you where you are while also helping you move forward with practical tools and strategies. I value honesty, consistency, and building a therapeutic relationship that feels both safe and productive.
Hello! I look forward to meeting you!
