As a Public Health Social Worker, I've worked with children, adolescents and adults in various settings addressing physical health, as well as, mental and behavioral health. I am passionate about empowering clients to make the changes they seek to improve their well-being. Whether you are managing on-going mental health challenges, general life stressors or just need someone to help you navigate a change, I would be happy to help you to get there.
I am an energetic and open-minded and goal-oriented therapist. My goal is to help clients understand their feelings, thoughts, perceptions and strengths. I have a MA in Counseling Psychology with 21 years of practice. I have knowledge in working with behavioral challenges, parenting skills, anxiety, grief and depression. I have worked in Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient and school settings. My work experience includes working with children, adolescence, couples and families.
Mental health issues can be a daily struggle for many, just know that seeking treatment doesn't have to be. I am a licensed clinician with over 22 yrs of experience skilled in helping adults, adolescents, and families manage mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. My goal is to customize therapy, so that through support and education, you can develop insight, learn healthy skills and identify your inner strengths to live a happy and fulfilling life.
I am here to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore life's challenges. My background in clinical social work means I not only focus on your internal experiences, but also understand how family, community, social factors, and your health impact your well-being. I subscribe to a simple philosophy: you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to stand with you, offering support and new perspectives within the context of your unique world.
I help ambitious adults who feel plateaued or stuck in their work, relationships, healing or personal growth. On the surface life may look solid, yet anxiety lingers, relationships feel strained, or old patterns keep showing up when they try to move forward in their work, relationships, or personal growth. You understand yourself intellectually, but the deeper patterns still feel outside your control. Often the coping strategies that once propelled you forward are now the very things holding you back. You may even know exactly what needs to change, yet still find yourself repeating the same reactions when pressure rises.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
