I’m a therapist, a mom, and a human first. I know how messy, beautiful, and overwhelming this season of life can be—because I’m in it too.
I specialize in supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood, including breastfeeding grief, birth trauma, and the identity shifts that can come with becoming a parent. My approach is warm, honest, and deeply compassionate, blending trauma-informed therapies like EMDR, IFS, ACT, and DBT to help you feel more like yourself again.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
I have worked as a therapist for over 35 years. I received my Diploma of Licensed in Psychology in La Habana, in 1987. I completed my psychotherapeutic training at Instituto Clinico de Buenos Aires in 2000. And finally, I graduated from Carlos Albizu University in Miami as a Mental Health Counselor. I have participated in numerous international conferences and seminars in the USA, South America and Europe. I work with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and OCD.
Life is full of challenges, and at times it can feel overwhelming to navigate everything that is happening. You may feel stressed, worried, sad, or unsure of how to move forward. Perhaps you are experiencing grief, going through a divorce, facing substance use challenges, struggling in a stressful work environment, or dealing with relationship or communication difficulties. You may feel lost — unsure of what to do, who to talk to, or how to manage different situations.
That is where I come in.
Reaching out for support is the first step toward healing and positive change. It may be the first step toward moving forward, becoming more aware of your triggers and learning healthier ways to respond, or finding space to heal, forgive, and reconnect with gratitude and happiness.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
