Hi! My name is Rachel. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I’m here to start with where you are at. We will work collaboratively to help you heal from past hurts and the negative scripts that are running your show. I offer a non judgmental space for you to come, slow down, breathe and just be. My approach includes EMDR, Somatic Therapy and a values- based approach that helps you handle tough thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them.
I received my doctorate degree in clinical psychology at Azusa Pacific University. I spent several years in community mental health settings, government facilities, college campus counseling centers, and private practice which have exposed me to working with a diverse range of individuals of all ages, mental capacities, ability levels, races, gender and sexual identities, and socio-economic status', etc.

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or even a little awkward, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. I try to make the process feel more human and less clinical.
I’m a direct therapist, which means I’ll share what I’m noticing and offer interpretations, but always in a way that feels collaborative, not overwhelming. Over time, those insights tend to become more accurate as we get to know each other.
I also believe not every therapist is the right fit, and that’s something we can be open about. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being real, while also being gently challenged in ways that help you grow.
